ONGOING OPEN INTRODUCTORY CLASSES
These regularly scheduled classes are the perfect place for beginners to get acquainted with eurythmy. Consistent participants are able to develop and deepen their eurythmic knowledge and skill within the flexibility of these fun, open classes.

Adult Integrative Eurythmy
These popular introductory sessions return on Friday mornings from 9-10.15. Through the course of the year, participants experience many different elements of tone and speech eurythmy, often tied to the seasons and the festival life. Aspects of Waldorf education are frequently touched upon, making them a helpful experiential way for parents to deepen their appreciation of both eurythmy and the Waldorf approach, and of how intimately they are entwined. The sessions provide a lively opportunity for moving in joy and harmony with others; as well as offering exercises which can then be taken up alone as part of one’s individual work. They are sometimes challenging, and always inspiring and fun! While coming every week and ongoing work brings greater benefits, drop-in participation is always encouraged!
Classes September to December in the Eurythmy Room at Shining Mountain Waldorf School; January to June at the Kelly Barn.
Where and When: Friday mornings, beginning Sept 12 9:00-10:15
Men's Eurythmy with David-Michael Monasch
While similar in much of its content and intention to the Integrative Eurythmy classes, these Tuesday evening sessions from 7.30-9pm are directed at men who may not be able to attend on Friday mornings, and who enjoy sessions in which there is somewhat more focus on developing concentration, coordination, skill, and teamwork; many men have been surprised to find how challenging and satisfying doing eurythmy can be. Several have also spoken of how their new experiences have helped them engage with their sons about the subject in a whole new way. No previous experience needed.
Where and When: Alternating Tuesday evenings, beginning Sept 16th, 7:30-9pm
